Ever wonder who the talent was behind the made up face of the edgy Rihanna??…Well, wonder no more.
Industry Art Shops presents celebrity make up artist Mylah Morales.

Her clients include Leona Lewis, Jennifer Hudson, Taraji P. Henson, Jordin Sparks, and Paula Patton just to name a few. Projects like the racy Gucci ad featuring the pop Princess, and numerous Cover Girl campaigns, have kept Mylah very busy…however, she has taken time out of her schedule to share some of her industry secrets with you.

Industry Art Shops is teaming up with LA Models to give “great face” for the attendees during our workshop! After Mylah’s demonstration, artists are encouraged to try the same look on their own models for the hands-on segment. Once make up is finished, photographer Ben Cope (http://www.bencope.net/), will be on set to shoot beauty shots of each model. There will also be hair stylists available to assist models in getting ready for their close up! Images from this workshop can be used as a great tool in building your book, as you take your career to that next level.

Joanna Schlip, celebrity makeup artist, came in today for a workshop to show off her talents, as well giving insight to her high paced life. she talked about everything from how she started off her career at French Vouge, to talking about how to have your own signature style in whatever your doing.

An art exhibit Benefiting Heal the Bay brought out amazing artists including our resident Julia Romenenko. And even the legendary Biz Markie performed a DJ set. The highlight of the night was our lovely Thomas Cathay becoming an official part of BOXeight by becoming the nineteenth person to get the BOXeight logo tattooed on his arm.
